Airline Guide AF · SkyTeam

Air France flights to Paris and beyond.

Air France connects the U.S. to Paris-Charles de Gaulle and on to the rest of France, Europe, Africa and the French overseas territories. With KLM, Delta and Virgin Atlantic it shares a transatlantic joint venture, so schedules and fares often overlap.

How the network works

Almost everything connects at Charles de Gaulle

CDG Paris-Charles de Gaulle Air France hub
Also ORY

In 2026 Air France moved almost all of its Paris flights to Charles de Gaulle, including most flights within France. Paris-Orly is now used mainly for flights to Corsica and by Transavia, the group's low-cost airline — so check which airport your ticket shows.

CDG is large and spread across several terminals — allow time when you connect.

Tips for cheaper Air France fares

  1. Compare with KLM and Delta

The joint venture means similar fares via Amsterdam or on Delta — check all three.

  2. Watch the Light fare

Light fares have no checked bag. Price Standard too before booking.

  3. Check the Paris airport

Air France now flies almost everything from CDG, but Corsica flights and Transavia use Orly. Changing airports needs much more time.

  4. Travel off-peak

Fares to Paris are usually lower outside summer and holidays.

  5. Add your Flying Blue number

Add it when booking so you earn miles and XP — it also unlocks free Wi-Fi on board.

Your AF ticket in four steps

  1. Step 1 Search

Enter your cities and dates and filter the results to Air France.

  2. Step 2 Compare

See fares, stops and cabins side by side with taxes shown up front.

  3. Step 3 Add details

Enter traveller names exactly as on ID and add your Flying Blue number.

  4. Step 4 Fly

Get your confirmation by email, then check in with Air France before you fly.

Air France FAQs

Is Search My Trip the same as Air France?
No. Search My Trip is an independent travel agency. We help you search, compare and book Air France flights, but we are not owned by or affiliated with the airline.
Which Paris airport does Air France use?
Paris-Charles de Gaulle, mostly Terminal 2. In 2026 Air France moved almost all of its flights there, including most domestic routes. Paris-Orly is now mainly used for Corsica flights and by Transavia.
Is Air France the same as KLM?
Both belong to the Air France-KLM group and share Flying Blue, but they are separate airlines with their own hubs in Paris and Amsterdam.
Which alliance is Air France in?
SkyTeam, which it co-founded in 2000 with Delta and others.
Are meals included in Economy?
Yes on long-haul flights, including drinks. On short European flights service is lighter and depends on the fare and route.
Does Air France have free Wi-Fi?
Yes on aircraft fitted with Starlink, free for Flying Blue members (you can join for free on board). Air France plans to have it across the fleet by the end of 2026; older aircraft due to retire will not get it.
