Tips for cheaper Emirates fares

  1. Make the layover a stopover

A few days in Dubai can cost little extra on the airfare.

  2. Avoid Gulf holiday peaks

Eid and school holidays raise fares to the Middle East and India.

  3. Use the U.S. bag allowance

Two checked bags on most U.S. fares — useful for long trips.

  4. Compare U.S. gateways

Fares from New York, Houston or Seattle can differ a lot.

  5. Add your Skywards number

Add it when booking so you earn miles.

  3. Step 3 Add details
